Quick post – overdue updates!

First, I’m finally posting photos of a Byzantine tunic I made for Ayla, the Princess of the Summits.  Zahra connected me with Ruth Ames who gave me the opportunity to work with some lovely fabric printed by Sara Simmons to create the Coptic trim to really make the luxurious main fabric shine. This was a joy to work on and gave me an excellent project to work on while supporting one of our local demos.

The ‘Adventures in engineering a late period gown’ talk I posted about recently was well attended and folk appeared truly engaged.  I really hope folk benefited from the talk and they are able to build on their own engineering journey!

Upcoming – I will be presenting my “Engineering a Venetian Gown” project for Dragons Laire Scholars at their Harvest Feast this Saturday, 10/10.

For Michelino di Gino Martini’s Pelican vigil at July Coronation 2026, I organized the vigil food with Oz Von Baekyn as head chef.  Oz is one of Aquaterra’s no-longer-so-secret weapons!

For Francisca de Rosil’s Pelican vigil at Autumn War 2026, I assisted Bella Beauregaurd with coordinating vigil food.

In honor of Aenor de Pessac’s Laurel vigil at Autumn War 2026, I finally made myself a Turkish Venetian gown, but failed to take pictures so those will come later, along with more details!

Upcoming – working on garb for Loftr’s elevation to Knight at 12th Night.

NEW – just took on the leadership role for Aquaterra’s Costumer’s Guild – more info to come!
